About LivePAT

LivePAT is a partnetrship between two established companies in Midlothian, near Edinburgh in Scotland. As a strategic partnership between a professional PAT testing contractor and a web application development team, LivePAT has been created to bridge the gap which exists within the marketplace for extending client PAT reporting data onto the world wide web.

There are several mainstream software packages and applications which are very popular for electricians and PAT testing companies alike, but they all currently fall short of delivering data into the "cloud" or, generally speaking onto the Internet. By providing an intuitive and uncomplicated system manager, LivePAT can allow you to share the data which is stored within the leading software applications straight onto the web.

Moving Data

Your client test data within the following applications is easily transfered onto the web using LivePAT Direct as we have worked with the leading testers to ensure stability of data and ease of transfer. LivePAT does not reverse engineer or compromise the software you have installed, we do not sanction or recommend this, what LivePAT does do is simply allow the data which has been saved within these applications to be shared with your clients using the LivePAT web application system by uploading the data so it can then be assigned to specific client users for accessing at their convenience.

I'm not very technical

We fully appreciate that a lot of the software which is used is highly technical in nature and may have already taken some time to get to grips with, LivePAT is different - we have provided straightforward, user-friendly interfaces which guide you through the process. If you get stuck there are help screen aplenty and if you get really stuck, one of our tech guys will happily talk you through the process.

Is it for me?

To be honest, only you will know that. You know your customers and clients better than we do, however as LivePAT was created by a professional PAT testing company, one of the reasons for developing LivePAT was to make our lives a lot easier. We were getting more and more requests for PAT wall certificates, equipment results, lists of failed equipment and so forth. The time taken to generate the output and, in some cases, the sheer volumes of paper used made us think "there must be a way to get this data to them more easily", and thus LivePAT was born.

If you are looking to save time with generating reports, allowing your clients to access their own data in a secure and passworded web portal is probably the easiest and most cost effective way to achieve it. It will free up your administration time dealing with clients and may even be a revenue generator for PAT testing companies seeking to sell an added-value service to their clientbase.
